Goin’ to the ranch

Standard

What a Memorial Day weekend we had.  I was run all over and just worn out.  We started the weekend at Blue Goose on Friday evening.  What’s better than starting a weekend with chips, salsa, queso, fajitas and some friends.  Nothing, except maybe a Margarita and a Pacifico, but I’ll have to wait a while before that happens.  Saturday it was off to a crawfish boil my Daddy’s old boss threw.  He’s from Lake Charles, La., so he knows a thing or two about making crawfish.  Apparently how to make them too spicy for me!  I did eat a couple of potatoes out of the pot and a couple of hot dogs.  We didn’t take the camera, so no pics of me eating or playing in the lake at their house.   Sunday was off to a pool party, I’ve done that enough that no pics needed to be taken.  But Monday, we went to Roh0both Ranch near Greenville, Tx.  My Grandma and Grandpa Jennings met us out there and watched me in the petting zoo and bought us lunch.  Thanks again!  It was a lot of fun and very tiring, though I never admitted it to my parents.  Here are the pics of my little trip to the ranch.

So you’re probably wondering where the Easter pics and other activities of mine are?  Well, as you know my Daddy isn’t always quick to post pictures (that’s why this post is so shocking), but he promises they are coming.  He better hurry, we’re off to San Antonio next weekend and then the following weekend we’re back at the zoo.  Busy, busy.

Birthday Boat

Ok, here are the pics of me playing with my birthday boat that I promised you.

I believe the Easter pics are next.  Stay tuned.

Birthday #2

Standard

I know this post was supposed to be up last week, but Daddy had a really busy week last week, and then our normal go-go-go weekends, so he’s just now getting to it.  As you know I turned 2 on the 17th….Whoa, Dad, it’s the 3rd of May, what gives?  You are really late!  Ok, I’m 2, my Grandma and Grandpa Jennings came over, I opened presents and we had my favorite, chicken tacos and home made cookies from Mommy!  Here are the pictures.

I know, not as many pictures as normal.  Well, Daddy put up the camera and started putting together my boat.  That was the big present.  It holds water in it, I know that’s not normal, and stands on 3 pedestals so I can play in the water with the toys it came with.  Fun!  In a later post, hopefully before November, you’ll see me playing with it.
